Heat a skillet over medium high heat and add the coconut oil.
Season the steak with salt. When coconut oil is melted, add the steak to the pan. Cook 2-3 minutes on one side; flip. Continue cooking to desired temperature.
Remove steak from pan and allow to rest on a cutting board or plate.
Add the avocado oil to the same pan, followed by the garlic.
Cook the garlic for about 30 seconds; add the kale.
When wilted, transfer garlic and kale to plate and serve with the steak.
