Prepare a baking sheet or counter top with parchment. Prepare a heavy skillet over low heat and add half the oil to melt.
In a small bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
Pour in the boiling water and mix well to form a thick batter. Let the dough stand for 5 minutes.
Divide the dough into 8 balls. Place on parchment paper and flatten to ¼ inch thickness.
Increase skillet heat to medium high and add the naan. Fry for 2-3 minutes or to golden, then flip. Continue with remaining dough.
