You can find cottage cheese in three forms: small-curd, medium-curd and large-curd (often called "popcorn" cottage cheese).
Be sure to choose organic cottage cheese made from organic milk without using antibiotics, synthetic hormones, or pesticides.
As a fresh cheese, cottage cheese is more perishable than other cheeses. Store cottage cheese in the coldest part of the refrigerator for up to 10 days past the stamped date.
