Put the basil, walnuts, and olive oil in a blender or food processor and pulse until combined.
Heat the butter in a small skillet over medium low heat.
Whisk the eggs in a bowl. Pour eggs into the skillet and cook for a minute until the edges are set.
Lift the edges carefully and let the liquid flow underneath the edges.
Season with salt and pepper and add the cheese and tomatoes.
Fold in half and continue cooking until eggs are done.
Serve topped with the pesto.
