Fill a large pot with water, sprinkle with salt and bring to a boil.
Peel the potatoes and cut into ½ inch sized slices. Add to the boiling water.
Cook for about 15-20 minutes, until you can easily stab the potatoes with a knife.
Strain the potatoes and put them into a large bowl. Add heavy cream, ghee, and salt. Using a potato masher or a wooden spoon, mash to desired consistency.
