Wash the outside of the squash. Place steamer basket in the bottom of the Instant Pot.
Add the water to the bottom of the pot and place the squash in the steamer basket. Cut in half if it does not fit.
Cover, lock the lid and set to "manual". Cook 10 minutes.
Quick release and let cool 5 minutes.
Remove from pot, scrape out seeds, scoop out squash flesh.
Serve.
